Jewelry Quality Checks
Pre-shipment jewelry QC compares the finished piece, quantity and packing with the approved specification, CAD revision and sample reference.

Inspect the agreed dimensions
Critical face, band, seat, length and fastening dimensions should have a defined inspection method and tolerance. A caliper photograph illustrates a measurement setup; it does not by itself prove compliance with every dimension.
Review setting and construction
Check the support, seating and security of stones according to the agreed setting requirements. Review joints, edges, fastening movement and any contact with the wearer. The correct inspection depends on the product and its intended use.
Check finish and visual consistency
Compare polish, texture, plating where applicable, logo location and stone arrangement with the approved reference. A consistent viewing setup helps review appearance. Separate acceptable material variation from a difference requiring correction.
Verify packing and records
Confirm piece count, identity, presentation, protective packing and dispatch documents. Agree the inspection record required for release. If a delivery discrepancy arises, review it against these records, the sample and the project terms.

Your questions, answered
Can a photograph prove stone security?
A photograph can show position and appearance. Physical setting-security checks must follow the agreed inspection scope.
What should I send about a discrepancy?
Provide the project reference, the approved requirement, photographs and measurements of the difference, plus packing evidence if transit damage is suspected.
